The Painters of the Treasure Coast (PTC) was formed to bring together Decorative Painters of all levels. Our goal is to further the education of our members and the public about decorative painting.
We meet at 9 am, the third Saturday of each month at the First Presbyterian Church on Walton Road in Port St. Lucie, Florida. There are directions and a map on the home page. Doors open at 9:00 a.m. and our day begins at 9:30 with a brief business meeting followed by a workshop taught by one of our local teacher members. A national teacher, known as travel teachers, are brought in for a seminar each year at a reasonable cost. These are usually two days on a Friday and Saturday 9 am to 5 pm.
One or more Community service projects are chosen each year. We have in the past supported New Horizons, homeless veterans and local nursing homes with items around the holidays. We currently support the Children’s Home Society of the Treasurer Coast with a monetary donation, toys for the children, and household items for the transitional program.
On the first Saturday of December each year we host a Christmas Luncheon and Auction of pieces painted by our members. This provides us with the funds for teachers and community outreach. If you are interested, please attend a chapter meeting as a guest, at no cost, to see what we are all about. If you decide to join us, the registration fee is $12 per year.
Please contact one of the officers listed on the left if you are interested in joining us. Our members come from far and wide, but we all share the love of painting. And making new friends is a wonderful bonus!
